Barmouth Viaduct Metallic Renewal Works

The Grade II* listed Barmouth Viaduct is located on the Dovey Junction to Pwllheli line, in the town of Barmouth, situated within Gwynedd County Council. The scope of the Project: A full superstructure replacement of the metallic elements, full track renewal and painting of substructure elements.

North-West Water Treatment Works Upgrade

Major upgrades to a water treatment works – including the installation of new rapid gravity filters, a lamella clarifier system and increasing raw water storage capacity - have maximised its output and reduced the average ‘unit cost to treat’, making it the most cost-effective water treatment asset in the area.

TLT Internal Strengthening Works

All of Barhale’s specialist tunnelling and water skills were called on in the successful delivery of a challenging upgrade to reinforce Thames Water’s Thames Lee Tunnel, a vital source of raw water for East London, against potential damage caused by the passing of HS2’s large TBMs.
