The Environment Agency
Ken Allison is the Environment Agency’s Director of Allocation and Asset Management, covering flood and coastal risk management (FCRM).This includes planning the allocation of funds and resources across the country to reduce risks to people, property and the environment. Ken’s primary role is to maximise the outcomes that can be achieved from the funds available.
He has over 25 years of experience in flood risk, coastal erosion, and related environmental management. This follows ten years in the private sector, in the UK, middle east and Asia, focussed largely on water resources planning.
Ken is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, with a Civil Engineering degree from Loughborough University and an MBA from Leeds. He has successfully completed the Cabinet Office Major Projects Leadership Academy.
