lead structural engineer,
Victoria moved to the North West to complete an undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool in Civil Engineering over 20 years ago and has worked in the North West since graduation. Working as a structural engineer on projects across the commercial new build, water treatment and nuclear sectors, she has gained diverse experience. Victoria started on Sellafield Ltd projects 10 years ago, first as part of the supply chain and then as a member of staff. Her Sellafield Ltd projects have included new build major projects and decommissioning schemes. Her role over the last five years has been as a lead structural engineer on a billion pound project, taking it and its innovative design from concept through to construction. Victoria is supporting the next generation of engineers through not only her STEM ambassador work but also through providing on the job training for apprentices and graduates. Her work has been recognised as one of the winners for the first NCE Recognising Women in Engineering awards in 2018. Outside work Victoria is a Mother of two and has been a leader in the Scouting for the last four years.
