Fabienne Viala, as Chair of Bouygues UK, heads both the contracting and property development businesses that deliver award-winning construction, development and regeneration projects across public and commercial private sectors. Since her arrival in 2016, Fabienne has implemented a revised strategy and focus for the business, which has driven the company’s return to profitability, whilst at the same time ensuring that high standards of quality and levels of service are maintained for our clients. Since 2018, she also oversees the Bouygues Energies & Services businesses who deliver facilities management, energy performance as well as engineering solutions to the critical, high-tech market, and civil and electrical engineering utilities services for the public networks. She was responsible for setting up and launching the first women’s network within the construction industry in France, which now has over 600 members and has become an international network. In addition to Fabienne’s role for Bouygues Construction, she holds the following industry posts to support British and French businesses in the UK and to further enhance collaboration between like-minded organisations: President of the French Chamber of Great Britain and Board Member for Build UK. Fabienne is a civil engineer with dual British - French nationality.
