Jacobs

Victoria completed an undergraduate civil engineering degree at the University of Liverpool more than 20 years ago and has worked in the North West since graduation. She has gained diverse experience as a structural engineer on projects across the commercial new build, water treatment and nuclear sectors. Victoria has worked on Sellafield Ltd projects for more than 10 years, both for the supply chain and as a member of staff. In her new role at Jacobs, she is Capability Lead for Civil, Structural and Architectural Engineering in the 20-year Programme and Project Partners, a new model set up by Sellafield Ltd to support faster, more effective project delivery. Victoria’s Sellafield Ltd projects have included new build major projects and decommissioning schemes. She was lead structural engineer on a major new build project, taking it and its innovative design from concept through to construction. Victoria is supporting the next generation of engineers through not only her STEM ambassador work but also through providing on the job training for apprentices and graduates. She was selected as one of the winners in the first NCE Recognising Women in Engineering awards in 2018. Outside work Victoria is a mother of two and has been a leader in Scouting for over five years.
