British Construction Industry Awards 2023
The British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA) took place on Wednesday 11 October 2023 in the Great Room at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Brought to you by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and New Civil Engineer , the BCIA are the most prestigious awards in the built environment sector that seek to recognise and reward excellence in project delivery and, crucially, delivering positive outcomes for society. These awards also celebrate the hard work and dedication of the whole project team – from clients, architects, designers and contractors.
There were 20 prestigious award categories, all judged by our independent panel of 80+ expert judges , who ensure integrity and rigour in our awards process. Plus, new for 2023 we announced the Place Making Initiative of the Year Award, designed to recognise initiatives that have improved the final outcome of a project to create quality public spaces that enhance infrastructure to the level where people not only want to use it, they enjoy using it too.
Congratulations to all the winners.
These awards are really important to the industry, not only because they highlight and showcase best practice, they really take their time, and they look, they interrogate so these awards really do mean something because they are credible
We need to showcase what we do… and what we do as an industry is excellent
