Draycote Reservoir: Drawdown Enhancement

Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB) were commissioned by Severn Trent Water to install three 1200mm dia. vacuum-primed siphons and modify existing facilities to increase the emergency drawdown capacity and reliability at Draycote Reservoir, used as raw water storage for supply, to ensure dam safety compliance under the Reservoirs Act 1975.

ML2 Sewer Protection and Enhancement

Barhale was appointed to reinforce Thames Water’s Mid Level 2 sewer, a critical part of London’s water infrastructure, against potential damage caused by the passing of HS2’s large TBMs.The business designed and delivered an exceptional project which demonstrated both outstanding engineering and a whole-hearted commitment to the community.
