Huda leads Accenture’s UKI Capital Projects and Infrastructure Practice and is passionate about ensuring critical infrastructure maximises benefits for people, supports the planet and keeps it safe for future generations. Huda’s 20 year career experience to date has included government, having worked at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) which reports to both Cabinet office an HM Treasury where she co- authored the Construction Playbook which sets out key policies and guidance for how major public works projects and programmes are assessed, procured and delivered to include innovation and delivery sustainability. Prior to that Huda worked for a Big Four consultancy where she was recruited to deliver work on critical national infrastructure programmes such the London 2012 Olympics, Network Rail, National Grid, Thames Tideway Tunnel and others. Huda’s purpose is to encourage the use of technology and digitisation to support a sustainable, inclusive diverse and productive infrastructure and construction sector. She is a Chartered civil engineer

Geraldine Badura is a highly experienced sustainability professional with over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry spanning oil & gas, highways, rail and most recently, aviation. A Fellow member of the Institute of Environmental Impact and Assessment (IEMA), her expertise lies in the environmental impact and carbon management of infrastructure projects, from strategy and cultural change to driving on-the-ground improvements and best practice. Currently, Geri is the Construction Sustainability Lead at London Gatwick, where she leads the integration of sustainability outcomes across the capital investment projects, from project inception and development through to delivery, with a key focus on carbon reduction.

Mark is Corporate Director of Regeneration and Culture for London Borough of Redbridge, leading on housing delivery, town centre regeneration, Planning, corporate property, libraries, leisure and culture services. He has worked in local authorities for over 30 years, including senior roles in Haringey, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham, Greenwich and Kensington & Chelsea. Mark has also worked as a consultant advising on Council-owned local housing companies and published several practical guidance books on housing companies, capital investment and emergency housing responses.

Roger joined the Thames Tideway Tunnel project in February 2012. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and has held board level positions in both civil engineering contracting businesses and engineering and planning consultancies prior to joining the project. The first 20 years of his career was in the geotechnical contracting sector (mining, piling and ground engineering) in the UK and overseas followed by over 10 years in transportation consultancy (highways, rail, aviation) for clients such as Crossrail, Network Rail, TfL, Highways Agency and the Department for Transport. Roger’s Completion & Handover Team at Tideway is responsible for technical oversight, property and commercial agreements, compliance with planning permission, system commissioning and the operational integration of the completed Thames Tideway Tunnel asset into the existing London sewer network. Having spent over 12 years at the heart of decision making and delivery on the project Roger is uniquely able to reflect on its critical success factors as it nears completion.

Nikki Bains is Head of Planning, Transport and Strategy at Birmingham Airport and has overseen numerous planning projects at the airport, helping to unlock the development process and enable growth. Nikki’s experience ranges from aviation, transport planning (HS2), renewable energy, residential, heritage led schemes and commercial. Nikki has a Masters degree in Urban Planning and is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Alison is a Director in the Infrastructure and Projects Authority in the Cabinet Office which is the government centre of expertise for project delivery. She provides expert project delivery advice and assurance on government’s biggest and riskiest projects. Her portfolio covers Defence, Health, Education, Welfare, Home Office, MoJ and HMRC. She also leads the cross-government forum on Transformation programmes. Alison is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and was honoured to receive a CBE for services to the environment. She lives on the north Downs with her family and golden retriever.

Ahmed is the Head of Infrastructure for Quintain and joined in 2019 leading on critical Building Infrastructure & Public Realm projects around the Wembley Park Estate. Ahmed comes from a Civil Engineering background and spent the first half of his career working in the Railway Industry delivering high profile projects. He is now supporting the delivery Quintains largest development known as the North East Lands working closely with the Principal Contractor. Ahmed has been pivotal in forming the Infrastructure strategy for both current and future developments at Quintain. He is passionate about using innovative methods of construction and technologies and has an interest in decarbonisation, EV charging, heat networks, MMC and heavy civils Construction

Jan is a Strategic Planning Advisor specialising in Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and major development. Jan's major focus is on providing strategic planning advice on the Planning Act 2008 consenting process as well as other major development consenting processes such as major regeneration schemes, mixed use development and new settlements. Jan has previously been a Commissioner at the Infrastructure Planning Commission and Examining Inspector at the Planning Inspectorate, so brings unique insight and understanding of providing planning advice with direct insight of Government practice.

I am currently the Programme Director for Performance and Rail Reform at Network Rail with responsibility for train performance, and developing Rail Reform plans in the Southern region. I have held multiple senior leadership roles within Rail from: being the Infrastructure Director at Network Rail High Speed responsible for the maintenance and renewal of all High Speed 1 infrastructure (railway and stations); to leading the implementation of major change programmes such as the introduction of cascaded rolling stock in a Train Operator; to developing 5 year strategic business plans. When it comes to the delivery of projects I am really keen that whatever is built or specified meets user requirements, and is reliable and maintainable. I also believe teams and projects are most successful when they are delivered collaboratively, and with strong relationships across everyone, and all teams, involved.

Pell Frischmann is a specialist advisory and technical consultancy operating across the built and natural environment, helping to shape a better future for the communities in which we work. Our primary sectors encompass buildings, infrastructure and regeneration. I focus on enabling growth and business improvement to enhance the value of the expert services we provide. I am passionate about creating great outcomes for clients and colleagues and invests my time in building relationships, processes and teams that deliver outstanding results. Over my career I have led business transformation programmes, growth initiatives including strategic mergers and acquisitions including the full integration of the acquired businesses, learning and development initiatives and have overseen numerous single and multidisciplinary projects, predominantly in the transportation field. I pursue opportunities to continuously learn and improve and I encourage those around me to do the same.

Rebecca is Public Sector Director for Kier Construction, the UK's largest regional contractor. Rebecca's strategic leadership covers a national portfolio including the key sectors of defence, justice, education, health and science. Rebecca was previously responsible for Kier Construction’s Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) strategy, spear-heading Kier’s adoption of cutting edge MMC and digital technologies to drive increased productivity and sustainable solutions. Rebecca brings a wealth of project delivery and preconstruction management experience, both from a contractor and client perspective. Notably as Kier’s Alliance Lead for the Ministry of Justice's £2bn New Prisons Programme, including preconstruction responsibility for HMP Millsike (c.£450m). This was the first FAC-1 sub-alliance in the built environment and a pathfinder for other clients’ approach to portfolio procurement.

Dr Keith Bowers is the Tunnels and Systems Director for the Lower Thames Crossing Project. This new road will connect Kent and Essex through the UK's largest highway tunnel constructed with some of the world's largest ever tunnel boring machines. Keith is also a Director of COWI specialising in major underground transport projects. He was previously Head of Profession for Civil Engineering and Built Environment at Transport for London (TfL). At TfL he was involved in delivery of numerous infrastructure schemes and, in particular, tunnelling projects for London Underground, Crossrail and on the highway network at Silvertown. In his earlier career Keith worked on the delivery of the High Speed 1 tunnels and Thameslink tunnels as part of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link project. Prior to that he was involved in ground engineering applied research at the UK's Transport Research Laboratory (TRL).

Having previously worked in transport across road and rail, with roles at HS2 Ltd, Highways England, the Highways Agency and British Transport Police, he specialises in developing analysis and insight into priorities for investment. As Programme Director, he oversees flagship projects and ground-breaking research to improve transport infrastructure, boost the region and create the biggest economic, social and environmental benefits. He has more than 19 years of experience in leading projects and delivering improved transport infrastructure and services, and plays a pivotal role in progressing a wide-ranging programme which also focuses on new technologies and innovation - including EV charging and alternative fuels provision.

British Land is a property company (REIT) that creates, owns and manages real estate throughout the UK, including world-class office space and retail property. Alan leads the Development Delivery team in the design, procurement, construction and handover of commercial office, life science, retail and mixed-use developments in British Land’s portfolio of London campuses and regional development. Alan is responsible for the coordination of British Land development delivery activities including technical briefing and specification, contractor & consultant selection, project procurement, development H&SE, programme and project management. The team have recently delivered the award winning projects such as 100 Liverpool Street, 1 Triton Square and public realm at Exchange Square; with £1.2Bn under development and a £3Bn development pipeline. Alan’s background, prior to development, was structural engineering within a multidisciplinary engineering practice. He has led teams in the design of a variety of buildings and infrastructure in the UK, Middle East and North Africa.

Lesha is a Business Unit Director at Mace Consulting. She leads a multidisciplinary team of consultants managing projects and programmes across Local Government, Housing and Regeneration, Arts Culture and Heritage, Sports and Leisure, Schools, Social Care and Blue Light sectors. Her team provides a unique blend of strategic and project delivery advice to provide clients with an integrated service offer focussed on outcomes. These include major transformational place regeneration in towns, cities and regions, sustainability programmes to support the climate change agenda and complex projects including new stadiums and heritage retrofit. She has 25 years of consulting experience working in both client and consultant roles. Having started her career as a chartered quantity surveyor and then moving into regeneration and development consulting, she has spent the majority of her career in management consulting, with extensive experience gained in two of the Big 4 organisations, PwC and EY where she advised both the Public and Private Sector. She successfully ran her own small management consulting practice in the UK and in South Africa. Her company in South Africa was BBBEE Level 1 accredited and supported black empowerment in management consultancy by retaining a workforce that was 90% BAME and 50% BAME female. Lesha is also currently a Governor for Activate Learning, one of the largest college groups in the UK.

Nick leads our Light & Air team designing environmental strategies and lighting for many of our most ambitious projects. Nick’s work has encompassed the lighting design for three Stirling Prize winning buildings and all four Tate Museums. It also includes the re-introduction of daylight into diverse internationally renowned museums, natural ventilation and passive conditioning for the next generation of art galleries and the transformation of heritage projects into conservation standard exhibition spaces. Nick has a flair for explaining the technical in interesting and inspiring ways. He regularly gives lectures and teaches on the subjects of environmental design, lighting and building physics at various Universities and other institutions in the UK, as well as further afield, and has also participated on awards judging panels such as the AJ, RIBA and Lighting Design Awards.

Anthony Dewar is the Network Technical Head of Buildings and Architecture at Network Rail, where he plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization’s built environment. His responsibilities encompass architecture, civil engineering, building surveying and building services. His team set the Network Rail technical standards, and policies for the design and management of railway built environment infrastructure across the UK. Notable achievements during his tenure include the formation of Network Rail’s independent design panel, development of design principles, and the introduction of built environment guidelines to improve the quality of rail stations and associated infrastructure. With over 25 years of industry experience, Anthony is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Royal Society of Arts. His career has spanned roles in both public and private sectors, including consulting positions at Jacobs Babtie and Louis Berger Inc., as well as significant work on high-profile projects like High-Speed 1 (HS1). He is recognized for his efforts to elevate the importance of design within a traditionally engineering-led organization, advocating for high-quality infrastructure that balances functionality with aesthetic considerations. Anthony also contributes to broader industry discussions as a member of the National Infrastructure Commission’s Design Group and New London Architecture’s Transport and Infrastructure Expert Panel.

As Framework Director, she not only oversees the day-to-day operations of the Framework but also troubleshoots project challenges. At a strategic level, she ensures that Framework Users are well informed about market trends and policy updates, positioning Procure Partnerships Framework as a leader in the construction and procurement landscape.
Faye's success in her role are underpinned by three indispensable specialisms: problem-solving, project management, and teamwork. Her adept problem-solving skills allow her to navigate complex challenges inherent in the industry. Faye's proficiency in project management ensures the seamless execution of framework operations, contributing to successful project outcomes.
With seven years of industry experience and a robust academic foundation, Faye brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight. Her dynamic leadership and commitment to excellence, coupled with a technical construction background, make her an invaluable to the Procure Partnerships Framework.

Mathieu is Chief Operating Officer of WSP UK and South Africa, and a member of the UK Executive Committee, the UK Advisory Board, and the Boards of the UK and Africa businesses. As COO, he leads the operational functions and assists the President and MD of UK&I with strategy implementation. He joined WSP in 1999 with a mechanical engineering background and brings experience of delivering projects within a multinational business within the UK, emerging markets, and across Africa, the ME and Asia. Mathieu has a BA in Technology: Mechanical Engineering (Cape Peninsula University), an MBA (UCT Graduate School of Business), and an MCom in Financial Management (University of Cape Town). He is registered with the Engineering Council of SA as a Professional Engineering Technologist, the SA Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and the SA Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and is a member of the Institute of Professional Engineering Technologists.

Caron is a senior leader with almost 15 years experience working in the built environment and is the Regional Head of Social Value at Mott MacDonald. Working with private sector corporate clients, as well as, on large-scale public-sector contracts in the defence, nuclear, health and education sectors. This experience has given Caron an incredible wealth of knowledge, skills, expertise and insight into what great social value delivery looks like. She fully understands that true stakeholder collaboration, partnership working, shared team objectives and community connectivity has the power to change lives and have a massive socio-economic impact. Caron’s past experience, coupled with her passion, dedication and commitment to doing a great job gives her the assurance to devise the strategies, create the plans, lead, advise, measure the impacts and to influence all project stakeholders to get involved and make a difference.

Carolyn has over 30 years experience in the Construction Industry. She is currently Strategic  Director for Growth, Development and Regeneration for the London Borough of Sutton.  She is also a Non Executive Director for Shoreham Port Authority and for the Jersey Development Company.  She is a Member of the Road Expert Panel for the Office of Road and Rail Regulation and a Commissioner for the National Preparedness Commission. 

Kate Ellis is the Strategic Director of Major Developments at the City of Lincoln Council. Kate acts as strategic lead on all major development, investment, infrastructure, net carbon zero, climate change mitigation/adaptation and economic growth initiatives for the Council. Kate and the team continue to develop and deliver a wide range of projects from master developer of a large-scale development of a new community of over 1,200 new homes to a new city investment plan reflecting the priorities within the Council’s Vision 2025 including Digital City, City Centre Vibrancy and Strategic Housing. Kate has worked in local government for 27 years undertaking a diverse range of roles covering Business Services, Funding, Commercial Development, Planning, Heritage, Economic Growth, Partnerships and Regeneration. Prior to this, Kate spent 5 years in the private sector following the completion of her law degree, including management within the commercial leisure sector.

Jo is the Senior Responsible Owner for the Government’s Thames Estuary Asset Management (TEAM) 2100 programme. This is delivering a world leading approach to climate adaption for London and the River Thames Estuary, maintaining 330km of tidal flood defences; raising defence standards to align with future sea level rise; and improving riverside environment. TEAM 2100 is a Project 13 collaboration between the Environment Agency, Jacobs Consulting and Balfour Beatty. The project is a Government Pathfinder, awarded for its asset management maturity and innovation. Jo is a Deputy Director within the Environment Agency’s Major Project and Programmes, where she sponsors a Major Projects Community of Practice. Jo joined Major Project delivery in 2018, as Project Director for the Oxford Flood Alleviation Scheme, moving across after 8 years Operations leadership within the Environment Agency, and sponsored the delivery of the Environment Agency’s Upper Thames annual flood programme and carbon reduction programme.

Brian is an established Highways leader who has delivered significant transformation and change projects within the public and private sectors over the course of the last 35 years, both in the UK and internationally.  Brian has led major performance, project and programme reviews for a range of institutions.  With a particular interest in digital asset management and technology driven solutions for Councils he has led his own Advisory Practice for the last 10 years working at the sharp end of the industry where operational innovation meets the reality of funding, the need for sustainable implementation and organisational change.

Dr Jim Foster is Head of Major Projects Sponsorship at Anglian Water where he is responsible for the Sponsorship of Anglian’s ambitious programme of major infrastructure projects including two new reservoir systems, proposed desalination plants and water re-use schemes. Prior to this Jim was Anglian Water’s Head of Water Supply, accountable for the operation and maintenance of all water supply assets providing safe, clean drinking water to over 4.5million customers across the Anglian Water and Hartlepool Water regions. Jim has held a number of senior operational and scientific roles in Anglian, before which he was Deputy Chief Inspector at the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI). Jim is also Non-Executive Chair of WRAS Approvals Ltd – who run the UK’s largest approvals scheme for the certification of plumbing materials and products.

Niki is a highly experienced infrastructure professional with 25 years of expertise in the healthcare, retail, and transport sectors. She has worked across both contractor and client-side roles, most recently at HS2. Throughout her career at HS2, Niki has held variety of key positions. She led the Utilities team, overseeing the Phase 1 and 2 portfolios, and managing the complex interfaces with the main civils works. Building on her previous experience in delivering the transformational New St Station for Network Rail, Niki also led the HS2 Interchange Station and Automated People Mover project guiding it through planning and procurement for the Stations Design and Build Contract. Currently Niki is the Head of Civils Integration, where she supports and facilitates integration across the four main civils contracts and manages the transitions and handovers to rail systems. Niki is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Chartered Construction Manager.

Jenny is a director of development and construction at ARC where she is actively working with the greater ARC team to bring forward millions of square feet of development focused on science and innovation, primarily at Harwell Campus. Jenny has spent the majority of her 15-year career focused on commercial life science development; ten years of that working in America for a large life science-focused REIT, and a further three in the UK, firstly a consultant advising developer clients on this niche asset class and its associated commercial opportunities and now her current position. Jenny is passionate about the science and innovation industry and the role that real estate partnership, both in design and in operation, can play as an enabler for growth at scale as the UK looks to establish itself as a science superpower in the coming decade.

Liz has over 25 years’ experience delivering projects and programmes, spanning major transport infrastructure, business change, ICT and modernisation. Liz has worked on some of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes and shaped and developed investment propositions for many others. She has undertaken delivery, sponsorship and advisory roles for a number of public sector organisations, and her focus on strategic outcomes led to her current role in the Customer, Strategy and Communications function within National Highways where she is currently the Director for Strategic Customer Projects leading teams to deliver a range of transformational change programmes including HM Government’s significant investment into EV charging infrastructure for road users.

Stuart is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 30 years' experience in the planning, design and construction of complex infrastructure projects. He joined the Thames Tideway Tunnel project in February 2016 and leads the Commercial Agreements and Property teams, responsible for all third-party agreements, including managing the commercial interface / relationship with Thames Water (the end user of the Tideway tunnel). Prior to joining Tideway, Stuart was UK Operations Manager for the Dutch utility Eneco and Project Director for their joint venture with EDF - Navitus Bay Offshore Wind Park. He was the UK Operations Director for TCI (Australian Communications / Renewables Group) and was on the board of several group companies and start-ups including Personal Broadband UK. His early career was with the major project’s division of Costain on projects including the Jubilee Line Extension and the A34 Newbury Bypass. Stuart has a passion for the development of future engineers and is a professional reviewer and apprenticeship End Point Assessor for the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Julia is a portfolio non executive director in the Construction Industry, and is a Chairperson, senior independent director and Non Executive Director in a range of real estate, construction and business organisations focussing on major project delivery, as well as chairing a social care charity. She spent her executive career working with global companies such as BAA, Ferrovial and GIP, developing real estate and driving forward major government projects, such as a new garden city. In 2022, Julia was awarded a lifetime achievement award for women in business.

Professor David Hancock is a chartered engineer and the senior commercial advisor in the Cabinet Office providing infrastructure, construction and project support across Government departments. A graduate of the Major Projects Leadership Academy and a high-risk project reviewer. He chairs the Government Construction Community and sits on a variety of government boards including Buckingham Palace refurbishment, the British Antarctic Survey, the 'Modern Woman' advisory panel and is non-executive chair of CIRIA. Renowned internationally as a leading thinker and practitioner in the field of behavioural risk. He has a Degree and PhD in engineering from the University of Nottingham alongside an MBA from Bath and is honorary professor at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, UCL.

Mike is currently the Chief Asset and Development Officer with MAG. He has spent the last 20 years in major project deliver and business transformation with TfL, Dubai Airports, BAA and Accenture.

Paul Harper has over 40 years in the water industry, mainly in consultancy, ranging through the entire asset life cycle, including whole life cost and carbon. Paul is currently a Principal Consultant with Jacobs, having previously been Director of Asset Delivery for Northern Ireland Water for over 7 years, leading the team through a period of transformation and growth. Particular areas of interest are Sustainability, Climate Change, Resilience and Innovation. A key advocate and leader in these areas, Paul also served as Co-Chair on the Belfast City Council’s Resilience and Sustainability Board and is currently a Regional Advisor for The National Trust in Northern Ireland. An early adopter of collaborative working, Paul was instrumental in the introduction of this approach in the water sector, including the Living with Water Programme and the cross departmental/ agency Forever Mournes Partnership, together with whole system thinking in the industry.

With more than 30 years' experience in the Water Industry, Jeremy is responsible for the management of innovation within SES Water. With a wide remit to bring in transformational change, he is currently involved in a number of asset management, network and water management projects. In addition to his role at SES Water, Jeremy is also the lead for the UKWIR national zero leakage project and is responsible for driving the UK leakage research programme.

Ian is a Chartered Civil Engineer with nearly 30 Yrs experience in flood and coastal risk management. With experience spanning a range of engineering management and executive leadership roles, Ian’s work is focussed on high quality infrastructure investment and delivery assurance, ensuring investment decisions are robustly appraised, innovation is embraced and shared, risks are managed and value for money is achieved across the Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) investment programme. Ian heads the Allocation and National Portfolio Management Office for the £5.2bn FCRM capital programme, Major Projects Governance and the National Engineering and Innovation Panel. Ian also leads the Environment Agency’s input to collaboration on engineering matters with international partners such as KRING Van Zeewerende Ingenieurs (North Sea and Baltic, Circle of Coastal Engineers) and is a British Standards Institute Committee Member. Ian is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a member of the Infrastructure Client [Risk] Group, and chair’s the ICE/Teesside University Industrial Liaison Group and is a member of the University’s Advisory Board.

Emma-Jane is a highly experienced infrastructure and built environment specialist. Her background and professional accomplishments span major project and programme delivery with clients in both the private and public sector. Currently with Atomic Weapons Establishment, she has previously held client positions in the Cabinet Office and Heathrow Airport as well as Big Four consultancy and front-line delivery roles. She has a strong track record across the full investment lifecycle setting up and delivering major infrastructure investments in the transport, power, and defense sectors. Emma-Jane has also led several successful major project turnaround mandates covering complex construction disputes and major project resets. She is passionate about the transformational nature of outcomes-based public sector investment programmes and the importance of getting both the commercial strategy and client model right to enable that transformation. Emma-Jane is a chartered surveyor, a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Lt Col in the Engineering and Logistics Staff Corps.

Andrew’s experience over the past 25 years as Client, Consultant & Main Contractor, has majored on complex commercial development across London, the Middle East and more recently Asia Pacific & Australia. A consistent trend across Andrew’s career has been the delivery of sustainable, high quality and award-winning development intended to stand the test of time. Adoption of technology, innovation and a solutions focus has underpinned this, particularly the adoption of BIM on projects since 2011. Projects and Client Portfolios of note include Kings’ Cross Central, Rathbone Square, 120 Fleet Street, Terminal 5 at Heathrow, the University of the Arts London, the Wellcome Trust and the International Quarter at Stratford. Embracing the challenge for improved environmental performance of property – in construction, operation and at end-of-life – is the single greatest and most meaningful impact he sees for the industry.

Sara is a senior practising commercial lawyer working as a Commercial Specialist within the Infrastructure and Projects Authority. She is the project lead in IPA for the New Hospital Programme and is advising HMT on the social infrastructure element of the 10 year National Infrastructure Strategy. Previously she was deployed at Welsh Government as the Programme Director for the Sustainable Communities for Learning MIM Programme where she developed, structured procured and delivered a strategic partner named the Welsh Education Partnership Company (WEPCo) to facilitate the delivery of a £1.5 billion pipeline of revenue funded net zero carbon educational infrastructure using the Mutual Investment Model (an off balance sheet PPP model). Prior to that, Sara delivered a twelve school batch in the North West under the PF2 arm of the Priority School Building Programme as Project Director and Commercial Lead for the DFE . Earlier in her career Sara worked in private practice where she acted for private and public sector clients and funders on major PPP projects across the education, health, waste and social housing sectors. Jeremy is a Fellow of the IMechE, a Chartered Project Manager and a graduate of the Major Projects Leadership Academy (University of Oxford). His key driver is delivering environmental restoration in complex situations through collaborative leadership.

With over 20 years’ experience in industry, as a Director in WSP, Kat is bringing together WSPs services as a trusted advisor, focusing on Sustainability, Net Zero, Organisation and People change. Kat’s leadership and experience is in taking a holistic approach to complex systems, bridging the gap between policy, and embedding practical action. Taking forward sustainable change services within infrastructure, facilitating and enabling the connections across sectors and technical disciplines. Having worked within the Public Sector for over 17 years, Kat has supported clients across several sectors, delivering a variety of services from: Infrastructure Resilience and Net Zero transformation, through to people and process change at an asset, network, and system level. Ensuring a whole life approach, governance, continuous improvement, and review are driving an evidence-based approach to influence and shape future policy. Kat’s experience is supported by a broad skill set in programme, project management and commercial services.

Adam is a respected Programme Manager and Project Executive, leading on a high profile and complex flood and coastal risk management scheme in the Environment Agency. He has established and led the PMO for the River Thames Scheme; the largest project on Defra and Environment Agency portfolio and is a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP). Prior to joining the RTS, Adam was the Environment Agency’s lead on Green Infrastructure for the London Team, providing policy input into the London Plan and leading the Environment Agency’s input into the All London Green Grid. Adams roles and skills are diverse. He has strong understanding of environmental policy, sustainable development and green infrastructure. His core skills include programme and project management, people development and contract management. 

Lindsey has 20 years experience in the technical design and delivery of major infrastructure projects and mixed use development schemes. Lindsey has led on the delivery of multi million construction schemes for Thames Water and the Environment Agency. Lindsey is currently leading on infrastructure and engineering to facilitate the delivery of exemplary sustainable development in and around Oxford, including two new innovation districts, working for the £4bn Joint Venture Partnership between Oxford University and Legal & General.

With over 20 years of experience in construction and civil engineering industry, Abouzar Jahanshahi is the Managing Director of Richter Group of companies. With more than 200 technical staff, Richter is a UK based firm of Consulting Civil, Structural & Geotechnical Engineers providing engineering design services for rail, civil, bridges, geotechnical and building construction projects across the UK and overseas. Abouzar is a highly motivated Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, he is specialised in temporary works design and advising contractors with optimum construction methodologies. On day to day basis, Abouzar is responsible for leading and running the business across all regions, leading teams of operations, design engineers and maintaining a high standard of output and customer service, expanding the firm, overseeing various departments, agreeing terms, winning works, continuous and proactive business development, design & approval of all types of permanent and temporary works structures (below and above ground) for hundreds of building and civil engineering contractors and projects across all sectors of construction industry.

Darren James was appointed Chief Executive of the Keltbray Group in April 2020. Prior to this, he spent 30 Years at Costain Group PLC starting on their graduate development programme and rising through the ranks to the Chief Operating Officer. An honours graduate in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey, Darren has undertaken further postgraduate executive programmes at Harvard, Wharton and London Business Schools. A Chartered Civil Engineer, Darren is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, the Institution of Civil Engineers and Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation. Darren is a Non-Executive Director of the Port of London Authority, a Director of the Rail Industry Association, a member of the Rail Supply Group Council and industry champion for the Sustainable Railway pillar of the Governments Rail Sector Deal.

Blane Judd is the Executive Director of BLTK Consulting, where he supports businesses in developing and managing strategic development. With over 45 years of experience across sectors including Power, Utility, Building Services Engineering, and Rail Transport, he brings a wealth of expertise to his work. Blane holds the part-time position of Chief Executive of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE), is a NED for nima (formerly the UK BIM Alliance), and chairs GEL 50, a BSI group focused on Low Voltage Direct Current (LVDC) systems. He advocates for LVDC as a sustainable energy source in buildings and is currently collaborating with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on a related project. His international contributions to public health earned him a Fellowship of City and Guilds. Blane is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), CIBSE, Higher Education Academy (HEA), Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), and Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE), where he served as Chief Executive and led the successful petitioning for its Royal Charter. He is a former Non-Executive Director (NED) and advisor to Parliament on the estate-wide engineering infrastructure resilience project. He also served as a Teaching Fellow at Aston University.

Daniel Kendall is a Senior Project Engineer for High Speed 2, specialising in the management of temporary works. Daniel helped develop and implement the project strategic approach to the technical approval and assurance of temporary works across the Phase 1 route, covering the initial enabling works and now on the main works civil and station contracts of this multi-billion-pound project. He has over 16-year of heavy civils experience in the water and rail sectors, having previously worked for Black and Veatch, Talyor Woodrow and Costain predominately in the area of temporary works design and management, including being ultimately responsible for the safe management of all temporary works on the ATC Systemwide Joint Venture on Crossrail. He is passionate for helping others learn about temporary works and has given various talks on the subject including as guest lecturer at the High-Speed College Birmingham.

Madeleine is an architect, curator and urbanist. Her studio, Madeleine Kessler Architecture, is dedicated to designing joyful people-centred places that contribute positively to our planet. Over the past decade she has led a number of award-winning projects including the co-curation of the British Pavilion at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale. Trained as an architect and engineer, Madeleine sits on the National Infrastructure Commission’s Design Group and is the Arts & Culture Expert on Design Review Panels across the UK. She is an Associate Lecturer at Central St Martin’s and the Architectural Association, Examiner for the Architects Registration Board, and previously a Visiting Professor at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. She has been recognised by a number of awards including the RIBA Rising Star Award and Architects' Journal's 40 under 40. 

Samina Khan is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, with a successful track record of leading complex and innovative infrastructure delivery at central and local Government level, with the private sector and civil society. Samina joined the Infrastructure and Projects Authority in November 2020 and through her role of supporting the delivery of ‘Governments Major Projects Portfolio’ she focuses on ensuring government funds are used in the most effective and efficient way to deliver quality infrastructure solutions that also promote social equity, enhance the environment and advances the Government’s ambitions laid out in the Net Zero Strategy. As an experienced leader, Samina brings a unique perspective to infrastructure delivery, leadership, and management assisting projects to respond to society’s changing needs and expectations. She is committed to sustainable development and promotes a more holistic approach to infrastructure development with the early inclusion of climate adaptation and mitigation, environmental and social risks and opportunities. She is highly motivated and action focused to obtain results and committed to good communication.

Jon is an experienced senior transport professional with over 35 years’ experience in sponsoring the planning, development, and delivery of major rail projects. As Deputy Group Director and Regional Lead for London and South-East of WSP’s Rail Stations Group he is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects in London, the UK and overseas as well as playing a key role in developing WSP’s rail station business. Prior to joining WSP Jon headed up Transport for London’s (TfL) Line Extensions team and was involved in some of London’s largest projects, including extensions to the Northern and Bakerloo lines. Since Joining WSP Jon has worked for a variety of clients across the public and private sectors, including Network Rail, TfL, local authorities, and developers. He brings a wealth of experience in rail to deliver value for money solutions and is passionate about making a difference to peoples’ lives through transport improvements.

Martin is one of the leading UK architects specialising in the design of bridges and transport infrastructure and is a Fellow of the RIBA and the Institution of Civil Engineers and an Honorary Fellow of IStructE. He founded international bridge designers Knight Architects in 2006 and his award-winning practice has completed more than sixty bridges in the UK and internationally. Their approach to design has been hailed as exemplary by bodies including the National Infrastructure Commission and the Design Council in the UK and Baukultur Bundesstiftung in Germany. Current projects include major schemes in the UK, France, Germany, Finland, Norway, US, Canada and New Zealand. Martin frequently serves as a client and industry advisor, including as member of the Design Review Panel of the Design Commission for Wales since 2006. He is a member of the National Highways’ Strategic Design Panel, was appointed a Design Council Ambassador in 2021 and is a judge for the BCIA Awards and the Structural Awards.

Nirmal Kotecha – founder and director of Inframonik Advisory Limited Nirmal is a board advisor and non-executive director having previously held senior roles at major infrastructure client organisations across the Energy, Roads and Water sectors and led the transformation of their procurement, commercial and programme delivery capability. He recently stepped down from UK Power Networks after serving over 12 years on the Executive Team as the director of capital programme & procurement. Before that, he was on the Board of what was the Highways Agency for four years as their major projects director. Nirmal joined the Agency on the back of the Nichols’ Review in 2007 and is credited with transforming the Agency’s commercial and delivery capability. Prior to that he was at Anglian Water where he developed the @One Alliance which is still regarded as an exemplar model for collaboratively delivering a large and complex programme of works.

With over 30 years of technical experience, Ken has held multiple roles throughout Hong Kong and the UK. His leadership experience was established while overseeing on-site technical teams on design and build projects and the lead of tendering in headquarter. He was the Technical Director of Bouygues Travaux Publics Hong Kong Branch and Dragages Hong Kong. He was also the assessor of professional examination at the Hong Kong Institute of Engineer and the Head of Company Graduate Engineer Committee for the promotion of professional Engineer’s training. Ken currently works for the UK Branch of Bouygues Travaux Publics as the Head of the Technical Department.

Kirsten is a highly accomplished architect with over 25 years’ experience. Her approach - in the work she has been responsible for and within the wider architectural industry - is to encourage diversity in practice, input and delivery. With a portfolio that spans all sectors, notable sports, cultural and leisure projects Kirsten has led include the Wimbledon master plan and remodelling of No 1 Court, Curragh Racecourse, Istanbul’s Arter Gallery, and the Bath Rugby New Stadium. As Managing Partner of Grimshaw’s London through the pandemic, Kirsten led the practice through significant growth and has driven the diversity in the design work of the practice, as well as promote equity in the workplace and industry. In support of this, Kirsten is a trustee of the Grimshaw Foundation, and is a founding member of Equilibrium Network. Kirsten is now leading the growth of Grimshaw’s new Paris Studio. In recognition of both her leadership of Grimshaw and her architectural work, Kirsten was shortlisted for BD Architectural Leader of the Year in 2020 and won the WICE 2022 Best Female Architect award, with a special commendation as Most Distinguished Winner.

Richard Lewis is the Asset Ownership Director at Tideway having joined the project in 2015 initially as part of the Project Sponsor team. As Asset Ownership Director he is responsible for the planning of commissioning and handover of the project as well as looking at the long-term maintenance and operation of the Tideway Tunnel. He has over 30 years’ experience in the process industries with the majority of the time spent in the water and chemical process industries, both supporting operational assets and delivering complex projects. Richard is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Member of the Project Management Institute.

Helen joined Infrastructure UK, part of HM Treasury, in 2013 to deliver the UK Guarantees scheme. Helen is now a member of the Financial Advisory Team in the Infrastructure & Projects Authority, and leads the Energy Transition and Decarbonisation Practice. She has over 30 years of experience in project and infrastructure finance across a range of sectors but has specialised in the energy sector. She was previously Executive Director at GE Energy Financial Services, where she led a team investing in European energy projects. Helen has had a focus on European low carbon energy projects since 2000 and worked at a number of financial institutions leading and arranging energy project finance transactions; and energy companies developing a range of energy projects including renewables. In her IPA role she provides commercial and financial advice on a range of energy transition projects and programmes and working closely with DESNZ and HMT.

Ating brings some solid experience from her prior roles in the private sector, with a strong focus on project development and delivery particularly for transport-related infrastructure and area regeneration. With 17 years of involvement in this dynamic field, Ating has been working alongside partners to tackle real-world challenges, identify project opportunities, secure funding, and ensure successful delivery and benefits realisation. Her leadership is driving positive change and making a real difference in the community.

Jon is Director of Infrastructure, Enterprise and Growth at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority, (the government's centre of expertise for infrastructure and major projects).

He leads the team advising on the set up of delivery bodies, commercial models and project delivery across the £700bn government's major projects portfolio. This includes all major transport, industry, energy, environment, housing, foreign affairs, environmental and digital projects and programmes. Prior to joining the IPA, Jon spent ten years in executive roles within the utilities sector for Thames Water, BT Openreach and Clancy. Responsibilities included business strategy, transformation, capital programmes, operations, commercial, international supply chain and logistics. Jon pioneered long-term collaborative alliance contracts and behavioural procurement techniques, winning national awards as both Client of the Year and Supplier of the Year. A chartered quantity surveyor, Jon spent the first part of his career successfully managing large construction and infrastructure projects. He went on to become an executive director for two of the UK's largest and fastest-growing tier 1 infrastructure businesses.Jon is also a non-executive director of Crossrail International, the alternate shareholder non-executive director of Sizewell C, and a frequent public speaker.

Dr. Angela MacOscar, Head of Innovation at Northumbrian Water, is a visionary leader with a PhD in physical chemistry and a boundless passion for innovation. With a knack for fostering innovation cultures and streamlining processes, she drives purpose-driven innovation strategies. Extensive cross-sector experience, Angela has spearheaded transformative product and commercial innovations across several sectors, including managing billion-dollar FMCG franchise pipelines. Mark currently leads Anglian Water’s two multi-billion pound raw water reservoir developments – Fens and Lincolnshire Reservoirs – both of which are in the planning phase and scheduled to commence construction in the early 2030s. These new ‘first in a generation’ water systems will help address environmental and climate change challenges, alongside the needs of future population growth within the East of England. The schemes are Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) which are following the Development Consent Order (DCO) planning processes.

Maribel is responsible for leading the design of urban residential developments through all stages. She is enthusiastic about design excellence and aims for quality, beauty, and joy to be central to what we build. Maribel brings valuable commercial awareness to early-stage conceptual design; working with clients to transform a brief, taking it through to planning and maximising development value. She contributes commercial experience and expertise in delivery, managing programmes coupled with best value. Maribel typically leads multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and contractors on large-scale residential and mixed-use projects within the private and public sector. She combines this with experience in student housing, co-living and the build to rent sectors. Maribel is an advocate for diversity and inclusion within the profession. She carries this ethos into her public speaking engagements and contributions to trade journals. She collaborates with universities as a visiting crit and she is also a judge for construction industry awards.

Millan Martin has been with Taylor Woodrow for 9 years, during which he has significantly contributed to the transformation of the company. His leadership has driven the creation of several key departments, including Technical Services (Temporary Works design), Digital Engineering, Digital Operations, and Design Services (Permanent Works design). These efforts culminated in the launch of Taywood Engineering, a new business unit that integrates all these teams. In the last couple of years, Taywood Engineering has enhanced the company's in-house permanent works design capabilities for infrastructure projects and provided front-end engineering services to support the entire group and external stakeholders in developing solutions at the FEED and ECI stages. He has helped Taylor Woodrow achieve numerous UK industry accreditations and awards in engineering and digital innovation, solidifying its reputation for excellence and innovation, as well as making Taylor Woodrow a reference player in the UK and a benchmark for digital practices within the industry.

Sarah is an experienced placemaking professional, with particular expertise in social infrastructure and non-residential development. In her current role, Sarah has led the development and implementation of award-winning whole-business strategy work on community stewardship, asset activation, local engagement, and social impact – using these strategies to unite the ambitions of multiple stakeholders within East London’s largest regeneration project. A champion for greater resident partnership, Sarah’s project work is recognised for making growth more equitable – evidencing that housing delivery can unlock outcomes for existing communities. Sarah is also an effective and trusted Client for vitally needed social infrastructure projects. She has designed, delivered and managed health, leisure, ecology, education, and community buildings in order to create assets that provide both economic and social value

Peter McGettrick is a Partner and Managing Director at Turner & Townsend Advisory and is responsible for over 700 professionals working across contract services, sustainability, technology, operational excellence, health, safety and quality, servicing Clients across the Real Estate, Infrastructure and Natural Resources sectors. Peter has been with Turner & Townsend since 2016, and previously spent 15 years at Capita where he was latterly Divisional Managing Director. Peter is originally from Glasgow where he obtained his Bachelors, Masters and MBA degrees and is also a Chartered Safety Practitioner by background. Peter began his career in environmental and safety audit and compliance consultancy in the private sector before moving onto various major transformation and business improvement programmes with organisations such as DWP, BBC and Southampton City Council. Peter is the Board Sponsor for net zero and has overseen the Turner & Townsend strategy to become net zero by 2030, to set targets in our direct operations in line with limiting global temperature rise to 1.5°C and to become one of the first 500 companies across the globe to commit to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s Race to Net Zero campaign. Peter also began his tenure as Chair of the British Safety Council in October 2021, where he holds responsibility for the governance of one of the world’s leading health and safety organisations.

Kevin is Group Development Director for Network Rail Property. He has 25-years of experience in property and construction, gained in leading UK private and public engineering organisations. Working with public sector partners such as Homes England, Places for London and numerous Local Authorities, Kevin’s current remit is to lead the team responsible for a diverse range of property development projects in and around the rail network. To date Kevin and his teams have delivered over £2bn of net profit through property projects, all of which has been reinvested back in to the cost of running the railway. Highlights include the creation of the Arch Co business in 2019 and board directorship for Network Rail joint ventures including blocwork and Innova

Nick McGough is an Architect and Director of Weston Williamson + Partners focused on transport, infrastructure and masterplanning projects. Nick has worked with a wide range of clients including Heathrow, Network Rail, Crossrail, EWR, HS2, HS1, TfL and Local Authorities as well as leading the practice’s R&D projects such as the Innovate UK funded Project HEART - looking to develop the world’s first zero-emission hydrogen-electric commercial air service.Outside practice, Nick has taught design having been a Visiting Teaching Fellow at Bath University from 2011 and running an RIBA Part II Masters Design Studio at the Oxford School of Architecture since 2014. Nick has also been invited as a guest critic and lecturer at Schools of Architecture in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York.

Kamran Moazami is Executive Managing Director of WSP UK’s Property & Buildings business and is a member of both the UK Advisory Board and the UK Executive Leadership Team. Kamran has over 40 years of international experience in the USA, Middle East, China, and the UK. Kamran is responsible for the overall performance of this multidisciplinary SBU, setting business budget, strategic goals technical excellence, innovation and identifying areas of future growth. Kamran opened the London office in 1989 and together with other directors has created one of the most successful and dynamic consultancy services in the UK responsible for iconic projects including The Shard, 22 Bishopsgate, and One Blackfriars. Kamran has been responsible for the design to completion of over 30 million square foot of building projects across the globe, many with innovative engineering solutions. He has authored and co-authored several engineering articles and was the winner of the 2013 IABSE Milne Medal. Kamran received his BSCE and MSCE from Columbia University New York and gained his professional engineering license in New York. He is a Fellow of both the American Society of Civil Engineering and The Institution of Structural Engineers.

Patricia Moore is the UK Managing Director. Patricia sits on the Turner & Townsend Executive Committee and as UK Managing Director leads a team of 5800+ people servicing clients across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Defence and Natural Resources markets. Patricia’s experience encompasses the whole programme life cycle, she is skilled in business case appraisal, major programme set up and delivery through to commercial close and claims resolution. Patricia joined Turner & Townsend in 1999 and supported clients across a diverse range of projects. In 2015 Patricia was appointed as Managing Director of Turner & Townsend’s UK infrastructure business and in 2018 appointed as the UK Managing Director. A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Patricia has an MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration and has a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.

Paul Mustow is an experienced leader and proven engineering and management professional, with extensive experience in major project and programme delivery in both public and private sectors. He has led multi-disciplinary teams and partnerships across complex and diverse organisations - delivering capital programmes focussed on construction, social and economic infrastructure and property, managing organisational change, and translating policy into strategic direction and delivery. Over the last 20 years Paul has held several senior Civil Service and public sector client roles on major capital programmes, most recently as Director for Delivery, Performance and Assurance for the New Hospital Programme, in the Department for Health and Social Care – starting this role in January 2024. Prior to this Paul was seconded to the Office of Government Property in the Cabinet Office as a Director and Government Head of the Property Profession. Previously Paul was a Divisional Director at the Department for Education as Programme Director for the multi-billion pound Free Schools capital programme, and Deputy Director at the Environment Agency in numerous key roles including head of the Flood Forecasting Centre, and head of the National Capital Management Service. Paul also has private sector experience in the water, wastewater and infrastructure planning and design. Paul is a Chartered Civil Engineer, a Government major project reviewer and a graduate of the Major Projects Leadership Academy

Responsible for delivering the 4,000 homes and associated community infrastructure in Westminster Council, Setareh brings over 20 years of public/private sector experience to support the local authority’s ambitious programme. The past 18 months have seen Westminster’s projects pick up a host of prestigious industry awards with Setareh also named Property Week’s Leader of the Year and Inside Housing Professional of the Year at their Women in Housing awards.

Passionate about high-quality urban design, regeneration, and sustainability, Setareh has instilled a methodical, outcome-based leadership approach in housing delivery. She is a certified Town Planner with a PhD in Modern Methods of Construction. Setareh brings pragmatism, innovation, and knowledge into action, whilst being able to formulate strategy and develop partnership solutions and maximise private/public sector funding opportunities.

As an adaptive and value-driven Leader, in her spare time Setareh volunteers to support university research groups in the built environment field. She officially mentors members of staff through coaching programme and advocates for Diversity and Inclusion and closing the gender pay gap across the organisation. Setareh also represents Westminster as a member of a number of industry expert panels, provides key note speeches at major conferences and as part of a team of judges for awards and scheme design competitions.

Jennifer Peters is a senior leader and Chartered Planner with significant experience working in planning, housing and regeneration policy development and implementation. She has worked at the local and regional level in London and the North East of England. At the Greater London Authority she led on the development of the 2021 London Plan, which includes ambitious policy in a range of areas including affordable housing, zero carbon, housing standards, urban greening and active travel. As well as leading on Planning and Urban Design, at Ealing Council she plays a lead role, working across the council and with stakeholders, in delivering the Climate and Ecological Emergency Strategy and is currently responsible for Transport, Highways and Parking.

Sharon joined Heathrow Airport Ltd in October 2023. She has spent over 25 years in the field of information technology, working across both public and private corporations for organisations such as GSK, Bank of England, Avon Cosmetics, Post Office Ltd, and Card Factory, overseeing major business and technology transformation programmes. In addition to sitting on the customer advisory boards for Computacentre, Fujitsu, SITA, HPE, and Aviation Authority, Sharon also leads the Information & Technology function at Heathrow, with accountability and strategic oversight for the technology masterplan, executing a digital transformation programme, leading cybersecurity, and delivering I&T operational services across the airport functions. Sharon holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Master of Law degrees from the Open University.

Lynda Rawsthorne is Government Head of Property Profession and Director, Property Capability, Strategy & Standards. She leads the 7000+ property professionals across government, overseeing the Government Property Strategy and Functional Standard, ensuring efficient, sustainable public sector estates. With 25+ years' experience in construction, valuation, estate management, and transformational programmes, she is a Fellow of RICS, CIOB, and APM and an Oxford MPLA graduate. Lynda was elected to RICS Governing Council in January 2025 and advises Buckingham New University’s School of Engineering and the Built Environment. Lynda joined the Cabinet Office from the Department of Transport where she was Director of Programme Integration within High Speed Rail Group, leading the land and property interface. Her previous roles include Prison Infrastructure Director at Ministry of Justice, leading delivery of the 15,000 additional places construction and transformation programme, and Programme Director of the £4.4bn Priority School Building Programme at the Department for Education.

Suzanne is an experienced health, safety, and environment professional with over 30 years’ working in the railway and construction sectors with a comprehensive knowledge of railway operating rules, regulations. She has lead successful teams in delivering S&SD excellence within large multi contractual major programmes and within Network Rail’s core business in Anglia Route.  Suzanne is a  Chartered Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health, an Associate Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management, and an Associate Membership of Railway Operators.

Adam Robinson is a highly respected Senior Leader and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Institution of Water and Environment Management. With a distinguished 30-year career in Civil Engineering, Adam has led major projects in water and flood and coastal risk management, significantly contributing to climate resilience and water provision. Driven by innovation and passionate about sustainable infrastructure, Adam has delivered national strategic infrastructure across England, now leading the programme development of the Lincolnshire Reservoir project for Anglian Water. As the Innovation Delivery Group Manager at the Environment Agency, he sought out new technologies and best practices, enhancing operations and implementing successful innovations nationally. Adam's leadership extends to financial ownership, strategic programme management, and organisational development. His commitment to net-positive outcomes and empowering multi-disciplinary teams has made a lasting impact on both the UK and global environment.

Experienced public sector leader with a commitment to taking government policy through to delivery.  Amanda is Director, Strategy, Portfolio and Capability in Rail Services Group in the Department for Transport (DfT).  She leads on organisational transformation and change, cross-cutting issues and the c£2bn p.a. rail infrastructure portfolio.  After starting her career in local government and the voluntary sector she joined the Cabinet Office, moving from there to the Home Office and then onto her current department via the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the Department for Exiting the EU. 

Neil is employed by Tilbury Douglas covering the UK as the HSE Director based out of their Head Office in London. Over the last 27 years, Neil has been working in a HSEW role including Corporate HSE Manager in the UK for a global tier 1contractor covering Construction, Civil Engineering and Facilities Management, and Head of HSE in the Middle East on a $3 bn Infrastructure Tunnelling project. Neil is passionate about improving performance through empowering people to take ownership of their own HSE development. Outside work, Neil is an IOSH Mentor and can be found out in the countryside, enjoying the fresh air and freedom, punctuated by family responsibilities alongside a wife and three teenage children.

Mark is an Architect who has designed and delivered multiple award winning buildings across all scales and sectors over the course of the last twenty years at Penoyre & Prasad. Now, in the context of the industry’s need to rapidly decarbonise if it is to stay within our legally binding sectoral government carbon budget, he has founded less.eco to help clients, funders, designers and future architects understand how we can radically reduce our carbon emissions and wider environmental impact through reuse, efficiency and sufficiency in design.

As the Stride Treglown Director for the Commercial team, Robert and his team are responsible for mixed development and city regeneration. Robert delivers projects that encompass sustainability, partnering and value, through imaginative design and delivery. His wide experience includes education, health, commercial, leisure, retail and residential. He has a key role establishing and improving long-term working relationships with key clients. Robert is central to our innovation strategy, mentoring emerging talent in our Post Occupancy Evaluation, Sustainability and Placemaking. He is an active member of the Constructing Excellence South West leadership council. Robert is passionate that architecture can contribute to reversing the damage we have inflicted on our planet. He has led several exemplar projects; Low carbon store at Dartmouth and a triple zero store (water, carbon & waste) at Weymouth and an offsite pathfinder Primary school at St. Austell for the DfE with a 10-point sustainability plan.

Dr Roni Savage FREng is CEO and Founder of Jomas Associates, an Engineering Company serving the Construction Industry.
Roni is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, an Honorary Fellow of Royal Institute of British Architects, a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of Institution of Civil Engineers, Chartered Geologist and SiLC (Specialist in Land Condition). She is also a member of the UK Government’s Business Growth Forum, and the Prime Minister’s Advisory Committee for the King’s Awards for Enterprise. A multi-award winner, Roni is an experienced business leader with a track record of delivering growth and transformation in Executive and Non-Executive roles.

Lindsey is a Chartered Engineer with nearly two decades of professional experience in the water and environmental sectors. She currently serves as the Deputy Director for Asset Operation Services, ensuring the safe, reliable, and sustainable operation, maintenance, and response of EA and third-party assets. With an extensive background in asset management and engineering, Lindsey has previously held the roles of Flood and Coastal Risk Manager, responsible for the delivery of capital programmes; Manager for the Environmental Regulation of national infrastructure; and Lead Engineer for EA West Midlands, overseeing the performance of over 13,000 flood risk assets.

Sarah has nearly 20 years’ experience in planning across London Boroughs and the GLA and now leads the planning function at Birmingham City Council, one of the largest Local Planning Authorities in the country. Sarah has expert skills across all planning disciplines and has significant experience in driving sustainable growth and delivering positive outcomes. She has a desire to create great places to live, visit and work, and is a passionate advocate of the planning sector.

Adrian St.John is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) with more than 30 years’ experience of delivering complex infrastructure projects in the UK and overseas. He is the Engineering Director for EKFB Joint Venture on HS2 Contract C23, covering 80km of new high speed railway between Wendover and Southam. He is an ICE Professional Reviewer and a Supervising Civil Engineer, and he sits on the ICE ‘Initial Professional Development Panel’. He has published 14 published works within UK and internationally, including presenting technical papers at World Tunnel Congress (Brazil, Croatia, San Francisco) and to audiences in Hong Kong, Berlin and London

Vara is the Engineering Services Delivery Director of High Speed Two (HS2) Limited. He is a chartered engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. His 25-year career spans global and cross-sector leadership on transportation/civil-aviation, offshore, oil & gas, power generation and infrastructure projects. In addition to Civil Engineering qualifications, Vara also holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems and is a Professional Member of the British Computer Society.

Lianne is the Director of Sustainability at Platform Housing Group. She is a practised Environmental Sustainability professional with experience in Corporate Carbon Accounting and Management and Corporate Sustainability Management Disclosure including SECR, CFD, ESOS, CDP, SBTI, PAS 2080, ISO 14064 and reporting systems development. Lianne is a Fellow of the Energy Institute (EI) and a Chartered and Full member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). She possesses an excellent working knowledge of industry wide Sustainability standards and sits on a variety of industry working groups.

Andrew Victory is the Global Digital Transformation Lead for Design & Engineering (D&E) at Arcadis. Key responsibilities include; develop strategic and transformation plans for the future skills and competencies within digital engineering, drive service excellence for strategic digital topics that include BIM, Information Management, Design Automation,  Digital Twins, Inhouse custom automation solutions, AI for D&E, and relevant strategic D&E technologies to adopt and scale.

Matt leads the project management team on the transformation of the 85 acre development at Wembley Park, with specific responsibility for design management, procurement and construction. Matt’s role includes the establishment of contractor framework, commercial and contractual negotiation of development and infrastructure contracts, programme and quality management and the implementation of site wide logistics strategy. Over the last 10 years Matt has successfully delivered residential, commercial, hotel, retail, infrastructure and public realm projects totalling 2.6m sq. ft and at present is managing the construction of over 3,500 homes, Infrastructure and public realm.

Michael Walters currently leads Corstorphine & Wright activities in London and the South, our ESG strategy and implementation across the Practice and expanding the practice's portfolio of work in the Science & Technology sector. With over 35 years of architectural experience, Michael has fostered enduring partnerships by guiding clients through creative development opportunities across a range of sectors, including transport, commercial, mixed use, education and R&D. His approach emphasises collaboration, ensuring that each project evolves from concept to completion with meticulous attention to detail. He is committed to creating an environment that promotes, creativity, wellbeing, inclusivity, and sustainability. Michael assumes overall responsibility for developing and overseeing all environmental, social, and corporate governance policies and procedures with the aspiration for Corstorphine & Wright to become renowned for being a socially aware, ethical employer and sustainable architecture practice. At present, Michael is leading several innovative Life science projects . These include the repurposing of Victoria House, a significant Grade II listed building in central London and the transformation of the Grafton Centre a shopping mall in Cambridge into an urban Life science campus.

A Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, John is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Builder and Chartered Construction Manager. His early career was spent in bridge design with what was then consulting engineers Maunsell (now part of AECOM). From there he had a short spell as design manager with contractor John Sisk & Son before moving over to the client side at what was then British Waterways (BW) in 2003. John has held a variety of senior operations, engineering and delivery roles at BW, now Canal & River Trust, where he is currently Head of Project Delivery. As Head of Project Delivery John leads a team of approx. 100 engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors and contracts managers delivering the Trust’s annual major projects programme of c£70m. The programme of reservoir and canal infrastructure projects are delivered through a small number of long term frameworks let under NEC4.

Appointed as the COO of Willmott Dixon Construction in January 2015. The business employ over 1,400 people and deliver an annual turnover in excess of £1bn. John has over 30 years of service with Willmott Dixon. Prior to his role as COO, he was managing director in Willmott Dixon’s London and South region, and has also held several senior commercial and operational roles within the business. A strong believer in purpose-driven and participatory leadership, John works hard to shape and develop the right culture within his businesses. In doing so, he inspires people to deliver exceptional results by focusing on the importance of customer service, innovation and the deeper purpose of the company. John is a passionate believer in putting the customer at the heart of our business. Barbara joined Mace as a graduate civil engineer in 1997 and has delivered projects across many sectors of the construction and property industry. During her career she has lived in the UK, Hong Kong and Russia, from where she has worked on projects across a broad range of countries, from Macau to the Maldives and Singapore to Serbia. Before her current secondment to the Royal Household, Barbara was Mace’s regional director responsible for Western Europe and Global Clients. In 2022, Barbara was named in the Cranfield School of Management ‘Women to Watch’ list, which identifies leading female professionals from across all industries, globally. In 2013 Barbara won the ‘Outstanding Woman in Construction Award’ at the UK's Women in Construction Awards, where judges cited her “outstanding career as an inspiration for all women in engineering, property and construction professions”. She is a Trustee of the Mace Foundation and a former Board member of British Expertise. She is passionate about inclusion, diversity and developing talent. She works with Whitehall & Industry Group (WIG) on their mentoring programme, alongside the industry focused Mentoring Circle and the Royal Academy of Engineering Leadership Scheme, of which she is an alumni. Barbara is a Fellow of the Institute of Civil Engineer and a Fellow of the Association of Project Managers.
